Woman Tries To Use Her Baby As Collateral For Loan

Event surrounding a woman who tried to use her child to collect a “loan” of N20,000 in Sapele area of Delta state has left Nigerians reacting

The woman who claimed that the baby’s father is based in America said she wants to drop her daughter as collateral in order to obtain the said amount as loan.

According to her, she wants to travel abroad to meet her child’s father and when she returns, she will carry her baby and pay back the N20k loan.

There were speculations that she might be mentally unstable while some said she may be looking for an opportunity to abandon the baby and flee with the money.
