Rivers State: Ibrahim Dankwambo Speaks On Wike’s Victory
The Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo, has congratulated the Rivers State Governor elect, Nyesom Wike.
Recall that Naija News reported that Govenor Wike, won his re-election bid, having been declared as the winner of the governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The Returning Officer in the state, Prof. Teddy Adias, declared the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party as the winner of the election in Port Harcourt.
Wike was declared the winner after scoring a total of 886,264 votes, while Biokpomabo Awara, of the African Alliance Congress scored 173,859 votes.
The margin that was declared between the contestants stands at 712,405.
Reacting, Dankwambo on Twitter wrote, “Congratulations to my friend and brother, Nyesom Wike -Mr. Project. PDP remains the only alternative.”
