INEC Suspends Result Collation In Rivers State

The collation of results for the Rivers State governorship election has been suspended by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

This was announced by Obo Effanga, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in the state.

He announced it at the collation centre in Port Harcourt, the state capital, while affirming that the electoral body will continue with the exercise at 10am on Wednesday.

The announcement followed the collation of results from 15 Local Government Areas of the state.
