President Muhammadu Buhari is absent at the colloquium of the former governor of Lagos state and the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

Naija News reports this years colloquium that holds annually to mark the birthday of the former governor, on the 28th of March, is currently going on at the International Conference Center (ICC) in Abuja.

The reason for Buhari’s absence at the colloquium is yet to be made known as at the time of filing this report.

However, the Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo is standing in for Buhari who is supposed to be the chairman of the event themed “Next Level: Work For People.”

This year’s colloquium is aimed at focusing on jobs and the economy of the country. The organisers said they are using the programme as an avenue to showcase the government’s efforts to add millions of jobs over the next four years.

The colloquium has in attendance several members of the ruling APC.
