Court Orders Nnamdi Kanu’s Arrest

The immediate arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has been ordered by an Abuja division of the Federal High Court.

Naija News understands that the continued absence of Kanu from court necessitated this action by the court on Thursday.

Justice Binta Nyako-led court gave the order while also revoking the bail she granted Kanu in 2017 and directed that the proceedings of the trial will still continue even in the IPOB leader’s absence.
