Newly Elected Lawmakers Receive Certificates Of Return

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented to the 25 newly-elected House of Assembly members in the just concluded general elections in Kebbi State their Certificates of Return.

Naija News understands that the State Resident Electoral Commission (REC), Alhaji Muhammad Mahamud, presented the certificates on Tuesday in Birinin Kebbi.

In his presentation, Muhammad urged the elected lawmakers to provide and continue to promote the dividends of democracy to the electorate in the state.

Two of the lawmakers; Alhaji Isa Rukubalo representing Yauri constituency and Alhaji Samaila Bui representing Arewa constituency, who spoke on behalf of their colleagues, promised to provide dividends of democracy for their respective constituencies.

Rukubalo noted that the victory would provide opportunity to consolidate on the social economic development of Kebbi State.
