Fire Destroys Multi-million Naira Worth Of Goods In Kwara State

The Badawa Secondary School in Kano State on Monday saw seven of its classes destroyed after it was affected by fire outbreak.

The incident was confirmed by the State Police Public Relations Officer DSP Abdullahi Haruna, in a statement that was released.

Haruna stated that seven classrooms were razed around 1:30 a.m..

He further stated that investigation into the incident revealed that the fire outbreak started as a result of a suspected electric spark from one of the laboratory classes.

“Cause of the inferno was suspected to be as a result of electric spark from one of laboratory classes.”

“No loss of life or injury recorded”.

He revealed that the fire outbreak was controlled by the firefighters.
