Commissioner For Finance In Bauchi State Joins PDP

The Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development in Bauchi State, Hon. Garba Mohammed Akuyan who resign from his position on Friday has joined the Peoples Democratic Party after dumping the All Progressives Congress.

Recall that Naija News had reported that Akuyan stated that he was compelled to resign in view of recent developments and political realities of the state.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara in a tweet on Friday confirmed that Akuyan has joined the PDP.

Alongside a picture of Akuyan, he tweeted, “Glad to receive my brother, Hon Garba Akuyam who just resigned as Commissioner of Finance Bauchi State and joined the @OfficialPDPNig family.”
