Supplementary Election: FCT Police Command Announce Restrictions

Ahead of the rerun election on Saturday March 23rd, the FCT Police Command has revealed restriction in some affected local Government areas like, Bwari, Kuje and Kwali.

The police force stated that there will be vehicular restriction in all the wards that were affected as there will be no movement from 6: 00 am to 6: 00 pm.

The spokesperson of the FCT Command, ASP Danjuma Gajere Tanimu, stated that Ambulances, Fire Service trucks and others on essential duties will be on ground during the election.

“While regretting the inconveniences this restriction might course the affected FCT resident, the Command want to assure residents that proactive security measures have been put in place for peaceful conduct of the supplementary election.”
