INEC Speaks On Supplementary Election In Benue State

Ahead of the Saturday’s supplementary election in Benue State, the Independent National Electoral Commission stated that it has distributed the sensitive materials across the 23 local government areas of the state.

The commission’s Public Relations Officer in the state, Terkaa Andyarigeria revealed the development in an interview with NAN in Makurdi.

The governorship rerun election will hold in 22 out of the 23 local government areas of the State.

The local government area in the state which will not be experiencing the governorship supplementary election is Katsina-Ala.

However, the supplementary election fo House of Assembly will take place in Katsina-Ala and nine other local government areas of the state.

The election will not be taking place in all the polling units expect for the once where elections were cancelled.
