The Super Eagles had already qualified for the tournament which will be staged in Egypt before the match, following a 1-1 draw against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in November.

Gernot Rohr’s men found it hard to break down Seychelles in the first half before Odion Ighalo opened the scoring from the penalty spot.

However, Rody Melanie drew the visitors level in the 41st minute.

Henry Onyekuru and Moses Simon scored in the second half for Nigeria to end the 2019 AFCON qualifiers as Group E winners.

The Super Eagles will now take on Egypt in an international friendly on Tuesday, at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
