Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have on Monday night raided Michika, a town in Adamawa state.

Naija News understands that the terrorists invaded the town, and shot sporadically as they scare residents to flee their homes.

As at the time of filing this report, a resident who spoke briefly with Naija News could not confirm if anyone was killed in the attack.

The attack in the state comes in less than seven days to the supplementary governorship election slated to hold across 14 local government ahead of Adamawa state.

However, attempts to reach the Nigerian Army to confirm this report have proved abortive.

Similarly, a thirteen-year-old girl suspected to be a suicide bomber has been arrested near Giwa Barracks in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
