In a post on his Instagram page on Saturday Nigerian superstar, David Adeleke aka Davido announced that he and others survived what might have resulted in a plane crash.
He is currently in the US and posted the update from John F Kennedy International Airport.
“Omo this pilot no try!! See shaking of plane for almost 14 hours straight. I don repent like 10 times for flight! Thank God we have arrived safe,” he said.
The news coming same day he became the first Nigerian artist with 10 million followers.
The 26-year-old artist had set such record of firsts previously.
He was the first Nigerian artist to reach 1 million, 2 million, 5 million and 9 million followers on Instagram.
His 2017 hit song, “Fall” became the first Nigerian music video to hit 100 million views on YouTube.
From his post, the map reads the busy John F. Kennedy International Airport that serves the majority in the New York state.
Later in the day, Davido who is looking to break into the US industry is at Orlando, Florida for a festival with other artists.
In about three months after, he will be visiting the Fairmount Park in Philadelphia to perform at the Roots Picnic hosted by an American hip-hop band, The Roots.
Others expected include Joe Budden, 21 Savage, Ari Lennox and more.
