French President Macron Visits Addis Ababa

French President, Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday paid a visit to the Capital of Ethiopia, Adis Ababa to meet with the African Union (AU) Commission Chairperson, Moussa Faki Mahamat.

Naija News understands that the meeting is aimed at reinforcing the strong partnerships between France and the AU.

The AU has 51 members and works towards closer political integration among African Countries.

The African Union with its headquarters in Adis Ababa also promotes investment in the continent and sends peacekeepers to trouble spots.

Macron’s visit to Adis Ababa comes in few days after Naija News had reported that an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 on Sunday crashed with 149 passengers and eight crew members on board.
