Port Harcourt DISCO Hires News Collection Agent

Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED) has hired a collection agent for the collection of fares in a bid to ensure the payment of electricity bills by customers in four states.

Naija News reports that the Chief Executive Officer, PHED, Naveen Kapoor stated this on Tuesday, March 12 in Port Harcourt.

Kapoor stated this in his statement while officially unveiling the Easypay International.

” We took this strategic decision because we believe that expanding our collection points will make payment of electricity bill accessible to all and sundry.

“To this end, payments made through Easypay will receive instant notification and confirmation at the back end in online real time.” 

” So Easypay, which is an accredited collection agent of PHED, will ensure seamless collection of electricity from our customers in four states.
“PHED is expanding it’s collection network with a view to improving service delivery to all its customers.”

“Kapoor furthered in his statement that s by visiting PHED outlets and banks,” Kapooor said.”
