Fayose Speaks On Why Buhari Can’t Conduct Free And Fair Elections
Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has called out President Muhammadu Buhari for the malpractices that took place in the 2019 general elections.
Fayose in his statement had stated that President Buhari would have conducted a free, fair and credible election in the 2019 election if he had signed the electoral act into law.
He claimed that signing the electoral act would have demonstrated his belief in conducting a free, fair and credible election and ensured e-collation of results.
Fayose took to his Twitter account to make these claims.
“President Buhari should have signed the Electoral Act amendment to allow for E-Collation of results and use of Card Readers (Strictly) for accreditation to demonstrate his belief in free, fair and credible elections but he refused.”
