Kano Governorship Election: Ganduje Wins In Kwankwaso’s Local Government

APC Wins Narrowly In Kwankwaso’s LGA

The incumbent governor and All Progressives Congress candidate in Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje has defeated the Peoples Democratic Party leader in the state Rabiu Kwankwaso in his own local government area.

Kwankwaso lost Madobi LGA where he hails from to Ganduje and the APC In Saturday’s governorship election.

The Returning Officer for the LGA, Shehu Usman-Yahaya said Mr Ganduje scored 24,491 to defeat the PDP Governorship Candidate, Abba Kabir-Yusuf, who polled 24,309 votes.

Ganduje, who is seeking re-election won with a slim margin of 182 votes.
