Live Update: Taraba State 2019 Governorship Election

Today 6th of March 2019, residents of Taraba States would cast their ballot in a bid to elect a new governor for the state.

Taraba state this year has a long list of governorship candidates, including females.

However, despite the long list, the major contenders are the incumbent governor, Darius Ishaku of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP; a former acting governor of the state, Sani Danladi, also won that of the All Progressives Congress Primaries (APC) and the former Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Aisha Jumai Alhasan, won the ticket of the United Democratic Party (UDP), to challenge Governor Darius Ishaku at the poll.
