The Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Diaspora, Abike Dabiri, has expressed sadness over the low turn out of voters during the governorship and State Assembly election on Saturday.

Speaking after casting her vote at her polling unit in Ikorodu LGA, Lagos State, Abike Dabiri urged voters to come out and exercise their civil right.

The presidential aide stated that she hopes people are still going to come out in batches to vote.

She appeals to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to extend the hours because they are one and half hours late.

Dabiri spoke about the peaceful state of the election in Ikorodu area,

She said the voters are generally relaxed as they seat to cast their votes.

Dabiri beckon on Nigerians professionals to participate in the election in other to move the country forward in all spheres as long as your vote count.
