The former Vice President further encouraged PDP supporters to troop out en masse and vote candidates of the party in the governorship and house of assembly elections.

He urged them not to be discouraged by the outcome of the February 23rd presidential election but to promote peaceful polls.

“I appeal to Nigerians to turn out in your numbers to vote. Do not be discouraged by the conduct and outcome of the Presidential election. We are handling all issues arising from that election according to the law. So come out this Saturday. Vote, refrain from violence and protect your votes.”
