Why APC Suspension Is A Distraction – Amosun

Governor Ibikunle Amosunof Ogun State has described his suspension by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a distraction.

Naija News had reported that Amosun was suspended over alleged “anti-party activities”.

Speaking with newsmen on Sunday after paying a courtesy visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House in Abuja, Amosun, who is now a Senator-elect under the platform of the APC, declined further comments on his suspension.

“For now, I will not talk on the suspension issue because I have learned in life that when you are pursuing a goal, your eyes should be on the ball and not on the spectators,” he said.

“If you take your eyes off the ball, you will miss the goal.”

He also used the opportunity to thank the people of Ogun Central senatorial district, for voting for him to emerge Senator.
