The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Prince Uche Secondus, has revealed that the party’s legal team for the presidential election will file its petition today (Monday).

He disclosed this while speaking at the PDP expanded National Caucus meeting in Abuja.

The PDP National Chairman accused INEC and the security agencies of compromise and direct interference in the presidential and National Assembly elections.

“PDP may file a petition today or tomorrow. The process is on. Our lawyers have been assembled. And nobody will stop us,” he said.

He warned those celebrating what he described as illegality, manipulation, and criminality, to have a rethink.

“I want to use this opportunity to call on those who are celebrating illegality, manipulation, and criminality to have a rethink. This is because such evil may boomerang to consume them,” Secondus said.

Governorship and State Assembly Elections

Further, Secondus urged INEC, security agencies to ensure that the alleged violence, manipulation, and suppression of voters in the PDP strongholds on February 23 poll, do not repeat in the governorship and State Assembly polls come March 9.

“INEC compromised during the February 23 presidential and National Assembly elections. Besides, the security agencies were directly involved in the election and voting process against the provision of the constitution.

“I want to ask INEC whether what it did on February 23, will repeat on March 9?” he asked.
