Omo Oshodi Loses Job For Supporting Buhari’s Re-election

A middle-aged man identified simply as Omo Oshodi with his Twitter handle as @fatailekanolaji has lost his job with a leading company in Nigeria for supporting President Muhammadu Buhari‘s re-election.

Naija News understands that Omo Oshodi was a driver with his organisation before he was laid off due to his endless support for President Muhammadu Buhari.

Naija News reports that Omo Oshodi who took to his Twitter handle to share the pathetic story of his said that he had been facing sack threats from his boss but never knew his boss was serious about laying him off.

He said that he was asked to leave his driving job after Buhari emerged as president and went to his office to celebrate Buhari’s victory.

In his tweet, Omo Oshodi said; “I just lost my driving job. My boss sacked me because of my support for buhari. I was congratulating a colleague for D re-election of pmb and I got sacked.I never believed anyone can go this extreme. I know my God will not abandon me and my family. I pray another door opens..Amin”

Omo Oshodi who never revealed the identity of his organisation to newsmen said he had been an active supporter of Buhari and will not give up no matter the threat.

In his subsequent tweet, Omo Oshodi said; “Thank God Atiku didn’t win. Only God knows how Atiku supporters will behave to the rest of us who don’t support him. My boss has done his own, some Atiku supporters are mocking me over it. You people overate yourself.. I’m a Buharist and I will always be. Nothing can change that.”
