President-elect, Tinubu Will Sustain My Legacy - Buhari

The National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has met with President Muhammadu Buhari, at the Aso Presidential Villa, Abuja.

This was disclosed by Buhari’s Special Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmaad.

He revealed that Tinubu visited the president to congratulate him on his victory in last Saturday’s general elections.

Ahmaad posted a picture of both men shaking hands and wrote: “Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is here at the State House to congratulate President @MBuhari. #BuhariHasWon”.

Buhari, who represented the APC in the election, polled 15,191,847 votes to defeat Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who had 11,262,978 votes.
