Popular APC Chieftain Killed In Electoral Violence

Unidentified gunmen have killed an APC chieftain, Chief Mowan Etete in Asarama, the Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Naija News reports that Etete, was shot dead alongside his elder brother and another victim whose name was not given but believed to be his cousin.

The spokesman of the Rivers State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni confirmed the killing of the APC chieftain.

National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus is from Andoni LGA in Rivers State.

In a similar development, an ex-official member of APC Rivers State Executive committee, Ignatius was also shot to death in Ajakaja, in Andoni LGA.

Recall that gunmen started chasing away voters in units 3, 11, 6, & 7 in Ubima, Ikwerre LGA, few minutes after the Transportation Minister, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and his wife voted.

In a similar development, Naija News reported that a 19-year old Usman for insisting to vote for his candidate of choice.

Usman was killed during electoral violence at his polling unit.
