#Polling Unit: Voters Agitated As INEC Officials Delay In Arrival

INEC Delay In Arriving At Uzzi Booth 003

Nigerians who arrived at Uzzi Primary school polling booth 003, today have shown disappointment at the  Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the delay in the arrival of voting materials.

As at 8.40am INEC officials yet to be seen, while furious voters alleged that the delay was a deliberate ploy to disenfranchise the electorates.

One of the voters, Micheal Chibuzor, told newsmen that, “we have been here since 7am and up till now we have not seen any INEC Staff, this is too bad that after waiting for extra one week”.

Naija News reports that this trend has been recorded in  some other polling units across the thirty-six states of Nigeria.
