Nigerians React To Buhari Spying Aisha's Ballot Paper

A storm of reactions by Nigerians has greeted a video showing the moment President Muhammadu Buhari spied the ballot paper of his wife and Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari.

Although it is unclear what the intention of the President was, Naija News, however, reports that political analysts suggest the President was cross-checking his wife’s ballot Paper on Saturday morning to see who she voted for.

Naija News had reported earlier that President Buhari voted at the ongoing Presidential election alongside his wife.

The President and the First Lady arrived at their polling unit in Duara, Buhari’s hometown at 8:03 am.

President Buhari and Aisha went to the election stand, where they were accredited at 8:05 am.

Buhari who is seeking a second term in office on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party, voted 8:06 am.

The President inserted the ballot paper into the ballot box at exactly 8:07 am.

Moments after the President and his wife voted a video emerged online showing President Buhari cross-checking his Aisha’s ballot paper.

Reacting, Nigerians took to the micro-blogging site to air their opinions on the viral video.
