Protesters have taken to the streets of Kaduna South to protest against military officers who barricaded the roads thereby inhibiting movement of voters
Protest at Stadium Roundabout as soldiers who mounted roadblock in the area attempted to stop residents from the southern part of #Kaduna from accessing their polling units in the northern part of the state. The soldiers say they have been authorised not to allow movement.
The protesters, who displayed their permanent voter’s card were heard chanting “Buhari must go”, insist they must be allowed to vote. A senior army officer intervened and they were allowed to go to their respective polling units.
