President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has during the evening hours of Friday, February 22 arrived his state of origin, Katsina state.
Naija News reports that the President arrived the state for the purpose of him casting his vote in his home town in Daura on Saturday.
The new media assistant to the president, Bashir Ahmad revealed this via his official Twitter handle.
On his arrival to the state, President Buhari was received by Governor of the state, Aminu Bello Masari.
Recall that the President also arrived the state last Friday to vote in his hometown before the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) postponed the election at the 11th hour.
Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is vying for re-election as Nigeria’s President against Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) among other presidential candidates of various political parties.
