Police Arraign Okowa’s Former Aide, Friday Eluro, Two Others For Assault

A man identified as Friday Eluro and two others have been arraigned by the Delta State Police Command, following a trending video of a woman that was stripped naked.

The suspect who is from Boji Boji Owa was a former aide to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and a former Chief in Owa Kingdom of Ika North East Local Government Area, Delta State.

A report into the incident revealed that he has more than twenty boys in his compound, whom he allegedly uses for his unlawful activities.

A team of SAKCCS on the 7/2/2019 between 1600hrs and 1700hr swung into action, tracked the suspect to his compound at Boji Boji Owa and arrested him with two others though not without resistance.

Upon the conclusion of police’s investigation, Friday Eluro and two others were arraigned before Ashaka Magistrate court for his despicable act of abduction torture and dehumanizing treatment of stripping a woman naked.

The Police in a release signed by its Acting Police Public Relations Officer in the State, ASP Chucks Orisewezie, a copy made available to newsmen in Asaba, disclosed that the Police authority was, however, prepared to deal with any act of crime and criminality by any means legally possible, and assured members of the public of its commitment to their safety and security at all times.
