Aisha Addresses Buhari As ‘General’

Mrs. Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari has declared total support for her husband, the president for warning that death awaits any ballot box snatcher during the rescheduled general election.

Recall the ruling All Progressives Congress on Monday, held an emergency caucus meeting over the last minute postponement of Nigeria’s general election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The National Chairman of the commission, Mahmood Yakubu, citing logistic problems, shocked many Nigerians by announcing that the Saturday elections had been postponed over logistic problems.

The Presidential and National Assembly elections will now hold on Saturday, 23 February while the Governorship and state assembly elections will now hold on Saturday, March 9, Naija News reports.

Reacting to her husband’s warning to those planning to foment any trouble during the forthcoming elections, Aisha took to Twitter to address her husband as “General.”

She tweeted: “??????? #ThisIsGMB taking Nigeria to the #NextLevel.”
