Gov Buni Makes Fresh Appointments In Yobe

APC National Secretary and the party’s gubernatorial candidate in Yobe State, Hon Mai Mala Buni, has expressed shock over the demise of the Deputy Speaker of Yobe State House of Assembly, Hon Dr Kurmi Ibrahim Garba.

Naija News had earlier reported that Kurmi died on Monday following a protracted illness.

According to sources close to the Deputy Speaker, the lawmaker died at the Yobe State University Teaching Hospital Damaturu.

Until his death, the late Deputy Speaker was a member of the State Assembly representing Fika I (Fika/Ngalda) on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) and the chairman security, petition and legislative compliance committee of the house, as well as member of various standing committees.

Buni who happens to be APC’s gubernatorial candidate in Yobe State in his reaction extended his condolences to his family, Fika Emirate Council, Yobe State House of Assembly, Government, and good people of Yobe State over the loss.

“I pray for the soul of the deceased to rest in Jannatul Firdaus and his family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost,” he said.
