A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa state, Senator Abubakar Sodangi has predicted that President Muhammadu Buhari will emerge as winner in the forthcoming Presidential election of Saturday, February 23.
Naija News reports that Sodangi made the disclosure on Monday, February 18, while speaking on the postponement of the polls.
While reflecting on the achievements of President Buhari within his last four years, Sodangi said that Buhari had done a lot to transform the nation’s economy and the wellbeing of Nigerians in general.
In his words, Sodangi said; “by the grace of God, we will emerge victorious during the polls.
“My party, the APC has done a lot, especially in the area of security, anti-corruption war and economy, which have direct bearing on the lives of Nigerians.
“Also Gov.Tanko Al-Makura has done his best in transforming the state and we are happy with his developmental strides.
“So, because of what the president has done, the electorate are eager to re-elect him for second term,” Sodangi said.
The former legislator who described the President as an anti-corruption crusader and man of integrity urged Nigerians to come out in their large numbers and vote for the ruling APC so as to give President Buhari to finish what he has started in the country.
Sodangi, represents Nasarawa West in the Senate from 1999 to 2011 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party but decamped to the APC in 2016.
