INEC Postpone Elections: Adhoc Staff Returning To Their Destinations (Photos)

Corp Members Leaving Polling Venues.

Corp members who were all set to carry out their election and post-election duties have begun the journey back to their respective destinations.

Naija News had reported how the Independent National Electoral Commission, after an emergency meeting on Saturday morning, announced that the elections had been cancelled.

Recall that INEC chairman,Prof. Mahmood Yakubu in his statement  around 2;00am today explained that the decision was taken following a careful review of the implementation of its logistics and operational plan and the determination to conduct free, fair and credible elections.

Meanwhile, it was learnt that there were various chanting about unpaid allowances and unfair treatment of youth corpers.
