Bukola Saraki Commends David Adeleke For Political Awareness Campaigns

Senate President Bukola Saraki has commended music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido for his political awareness campaigns

Naija News reports that unlike many celebrities who kept mute about politics, Davido had taken to social media to lead campaigns namely, #Defendyourvote, while rallying support for a number of People Democratic Party (PDP) candidates ahead of the general elections.

Saraki who took a liking to his political activities took to his twitter handle to share a picture of himself and Davido while commending his activities to urge Nigerians to vote in the Saturday presidential elections.

Meanwhile, Davido has declared himself as non-partisan, noting that he was only supporting persons and not parties, Naija News reports.

I am not a party man, I supported my Blood Uncle under (PDP) I am supporting Banky W under House of Representatives (MDP), Mr Jollof House of rep (AAC) Dapo Abiodun Governorship candidate (APC).

“Also supporting Shinna Peller Oyo for House of Representatives (APC) and Atiku Abubakar Presidential (PDP)” he had tweeted recently.
