Four Days To Election, SDP Suspends Duke, Expels Gana
Less than four complete days to the 2019 presidential election, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has expelled former Minister of Information, Prof Jerry Gana and Chief Supo Shonibare over what it described as anti-party activities.
The party also suspended the former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke for the same offence.

Immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has raised the alarm over the plot by the APC led Federal Government to jam all telecommunications networks from 5 am on Saturday till 5 pm on Sunday, thus making it impossible for use of internet and phone calls during the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Fayose, who is also the Southwest Coordinator of the Atiku/Obi PDP Presidential Campaign Council said the equipment for the sinister plot arrived the country from Israel last week and a test run was done on Thursday and Friday.
