Many Feared Dead As Boko Haram Attacks Borno State Governor’s Convoy

Borno State governor, Kashim Shettima was today on his way to a political rally at Gamboru-Ngala in the state when his convoy was attacked by Boko Haram Terrorists. The Guardian Newspaper reports

The deputy governor of the state Usman Durkwa, said he cannot confirm the attack.

“ I am hearing it as rumour. I’m yet to get a report on the attacks of Governor’s convoy,” Durwa said.

“They are yet to return from a campaign rally in Mafa, Dikwa and Gambouru, a border town with Cameroon.”
