Ben-Murray Bruce, Reno Omokiri Reacts To Tinubu’s Attack On Ex President Obasanjo

Senator representing Bayelsa East constituency, Ben Murray-Bruce, has condemned those he called beneficiaries of a former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, who now insult him.

He was reacting to the statement by the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, at the All Progressives Congress presidential rally in Lagos, where he threw a jibe at Obasanjo that President Muhammadu Buhari doesn’t have time to write letters.

He said, “I have told them that you don’t have time to write letters; you get the job done.”

In reaction, Murray-Bruce on his Twitter handle said, “President Olusegun Obasanjo is an icon. He ended the Nigerian Civil War. The first military head of state to voluntarily handed over to an elected President in Africa. He stabilized the democracy we are now enjoying. It is rather unfortunate that the beneficiaries now insult him!”
