Atiku Abubakar addresses Nigerians

A massive crowd of cheering supporters mobbed the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, in Borno State on Wednesday.

Naija News reports that Abubakar, a former Vice President of Nigeria, held his Presidential campaign in Borno a week to the nation’s Presidential election slated for February 16.

The PDP Presidential candidate took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to thank the residents of the state, assuring them that a vote for PDP is a vote for a more effective strategy against Boko Haram and a better life for all residents of Borno State.

His words: “Thank you Borno State. Despite the security challenges, you came out to support PDP.

“On February 16, a vote for PDP is a vote for a more effective strategy against Boko Haram and better life for all residents of Borno State.

“Come out, vote and protect your vote,” the tweet added.
