IMN Predicts Result of 2019 Presidential Election

The Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), also known as Shiites have claimed that the APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari would lose the election in Sokoto, Kano, Kaduna as well as Abuja.

The group hinged its declaration on a belief that the people of those states have become disenchanted with the Buhari led administration.

It also said the continued detention of its leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and the killing of their members would prevent Buhari from winning in the identified states.

Naija News recalls the group had also earlier in a statement by its spokesperson, Ibrahim Musa said “Buhari can feel the inevitable defeat coming his way, so the desperate attempt by the administration to cause chaos so that the elections will not hold, at the same time becloud its brutal and inhuman Saudi-sponsored Zaria genocide that resulted in the brutal death of 1000+ innocent children, women and men in Zaria in December 2015.”

Meanwhile, the Shiites had during a street protest in Abuja on Tuesday, declared they are ready to die to secure the release of their leader, El-Zakzaky who has been in government security operatives’ custody since December 2015.

The Shiite members vowed not to back down until their leader and his wife, Zeenat are released from government custody where they have been since 2015.

We are ready to die for Elzakzaky. We will not back down until our leader and his wife are released. We are ready to die for El-zazaky,” they said.
