Shehu Sani Speaks On El-Rufai’s Threat To International Communities

Ahead of the forthcoming general election, the Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the statement made by the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.

The Governor had threatened that foreigners who try to intervene in the forthcoming general election would return in body bags.

Naija News had reported that El-Rufai stated this while speaking on NTA’s Tuesday Live programme anchored by Cyril Stober.

Shehu Sani who took to his Twitter page to react to the statement of the Governor called on Nigerian and the international community to take the statement seriously. He wrote;

“The threat to kill foreigners who ‘interfere’ in Nigeria’s elections is a condemnable act. Nigerians and the International community must take this seriously.

“The sources and plots of violence are now clear.

“While our mind is set on ballot boxes and votes, theirs is set on bullets, bodybags & coffins.”
