2019: See What Atiku, Secondus Said In Yobe

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has appealed to the people of the Northeast sub-region, to produce the next president of Nigeria by voting for him.

Atiku stated this during the launch of his presidential campaign in Damaturu on Wednesday.

he called on the people to elect him, being their own, stating that 2019 presidential election provides the sub-region with a rare opportunity.

“Since the Tafawa Balewa administration of the First Republic, the Northeast did not have another opportunity to produce Nigeria’s president,” he said.

Atiku assured women and youths that they would be given the opportunity to serve in his administration if he was elected.

Abubakar cautioned security operatives and personnel of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) against taking sides, urging them to maintain neutrality in the discharge of their responsibilities.

The presidential candidate of PDP stated that if he is elected he would guaranty security and provide infrastructure across the state.

The National Chairman of the party, Uche Secondus, while speaking said if elected he would guarantee the security of lives and property, as well as create job opportunities.
