A massive crowd of cheering supporters mobbed the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, in Zamfara on Monday.

Naija News reports that Abubakar, a former Vice President of Nigeria, held his Presidential campaign in Zamfara on Monday, where he pledged to improve security in Zamfara, northern Nigeria, if elected Nigeria’s President on February 16, which is the nation’s Presidential election.

Boko Haram Attacks Adamawa Community

Suspected members of the Boko Haram sect on Monday night, February 4, attacked a community in Michika local government area of Adamawa state, northern Nigeria.

TheCable quoted a source as saying that the insurgents stormed the town at night. Residents fled into the bush and nearby mountains to avoid the wrath of the insurgents.

How Lobbyists Got Atiku ‘Temporary Waiver’ To Enter US

The travel ban on the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, was waived temporarily by the US state department after lobbyists mounted a campaign among congressional lawmakers, a report has said.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organisation (PPCO) on Monday dismissed reports of a rift in the party over campaign funding.

In a statement by its spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan, PPCO described as “laughable, infantile and diversionary, reports being sponsored by the All Progressives Congress(APC) that there are disagreements in the PDP over the handling of our Presidential campaign funds.”
