Oshiomhole Reveals Why Retired Generals Want To Oust Buhari

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Adams Oshiomhole has accused retired generals in the country of plotting to end the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He made this known while speaking at a rally held at Malam Aminu Kano Triangle in Dutse, the capital of Jigawa state.

The former Edo State governor explained that the old generals plotted and ended Buhari’s military regime because his good policies and programs were against their wishes.

He noted that the desire of President Buhari to develop the country is the reason he has been contesting as the President severally and was rigged out.

Oshiomhole stated that the president had the backing of God to terminate years of misrule when stealing became fundamental principles.

“God knows Buhari’s mind and intention and that was the reason God is always protecting him against all evils and evil doers also continued to enjoy the support of the masses,” APC chairman said.

The former leader of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) noted that the old generals do not want him to do even the first four-years, let alone another four years.

“They ruled for 16 years and still want to continue but God sent Buhari to terminate their ambition,” he said.

“He terminated the tenures of those that dealt with Nigeria, the party that wasted good opportunities of the country, the party that gave the country bad name around the world,” Oshoimhole stated.
