1.  Again, The Economist Insists PDP’s Atiku Will Win Presidential Election

The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has reiterated its earlier stance that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, Atiku Abubakar, will win the nation’s presidential election scheduled for February 16. 2. Patience Jonathan ‘Loses N1 Billion’ To Buhari Government

Patience Jonathan, the wife of former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, has temporarily forfeited N1.0004 billion to the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government. Naija News reports that Mrs Jonathan’s interim forfeiture of the N1.0004 billion forfeiture followed a court order secured by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nigeria’s anti-graft agency.
