1. If Atiku Presidency Does Not Work ‘I Will Go Home’ – Peter Obi

The Vice Presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi, says if Atiku Abubakar is elected and his government fails to work, he will resign.

Naija News reports that the PDP Vice Presidential candidate made this comment on Friday at The Nigeria Leadership Summit tagged: “One On One With Peter Obi” which took place in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city.

2. INEC Unveils 7 Steps For Voting During 2019 General Elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) has outlined seven important steps that must be followed by voters in the 2019 general elections.

The electoral umpire made the revelation via its verified Twitter handle on Thursday, 10th January 2019.

3. What Atiku And Obi Presidency Stand For – Atiku’s Son

Aminu Atiku Abubakar, the son of Atiku Abubakar, says Nigerians will benefit more if the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is elected in next month Presidential election because of what they stand for.

4. Dino Allegedly Move From Hospital To Unknown Destination By Masked Policemen

The Senator Representing Kogi West Constituency, Mr Dino Melaye, has reported been whisked out of the hospital he has been receiving treatment by suspected masked policemen.

Naija News understands that the lawmaker was forcefully taken away to an unknown destination in an unidentified vehicle by the suspect police operatives.

Striking members of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) have vowed to continue their ongoing strike until government meets all their demands.

6. Amina Zakari: We Doubt INEC’s Neutrality In 2019 Election, PDP Tells EU

As the nation prepares for the forthcoming election in February and March, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has reported its position on Amina Zakari, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and security agencies to the European Union, EU.

Kola Ologbondiyan, the party spokesman in an interactive session with EU Election Observation Mission in Nigeria, said the APC-led administration has been poor since it came into power in 2015.

World Football governing body FIFA, has, on Thursday, ranked Nigeria football team 44 in the world in the first ranking in 2019, maintaining the same position in previous ranking.

The latest ranking which was published on the website of the world’s football governing body, have the Super Eagles maintain its 4th position on the African continent.
