2019 UTME Registration Guidelines

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has commenced the registration for the 2019 UTME exams on Thursday, January 10 2019.

As earlier published by Naija News, the registration exercise would last for 6 weeks, counting from Thursday as revealed by the board.

JAMB yesterday, also unveiled three important steps every candidate must follow for the 2019 UTME registration.

The steps were listed on JAMB’s official twitter handle as:

1. No candidate should proceed to any CBT centre without first creating a profile. Candidates are advised to create a profile by sending their name (Surname First-name and Middle-name) via SMS to 55019.

2. After which a 10 digit profile code would be sent to their telephone number. This code will then be used to purchase the application document at the point of purchase (Banks, MMOs, MFBs, USSD Partners etc).

3. A form e-pin would then be sent to the candidate via SMS. The candidate is to present the e-pin at any JAMB accredited CBT centre for registration.

Recall the board has already stated that cyber cafes would not be used for this year’s registration and all candidates are expected to visit accredited registration centers only.
