Recall that as earlier reported by Naija News, Omokri released a first video and wrote on Twitter: “Nigerians hear the audio of Rotimi Amaechi’s conversation, they may weep. The man has no iota of respect for Buhari.
“In fact, he hero worshipped former President Obasanjo in the tape and said he is the only worthy Nigerian leader. They know the truth, but hide it!”
Omokri further threatened to release more audio of Amaechi criticizing Buhari if the minister does not own up to the statement.
“The President does not listen to anybody. Does he even read,” Amaechi allegedly said.
However, the Presidency in a reaction through Tolu Ogunlesi, a special assistant to President Buhari on digital media, said the leaked audio of Amaechi purportedly criticising Buhari occurred in 2014 and that the minister was referring to Goodluck Jonathan, the then President.
He wrote on Twitter: “Audio from 2014 or so. At the height of Amaechi’s fight with GEJ.

Omokri has however, after the presidency’s response, released a more comprehensive audio.
Yesterday, I set up the @NGRPresident. I knew if I released the full #AmaechiTapes, they’d say it was fake. Now that @ToluOgunlesi admitted it is actually Amaechi, but from 2014, here is the rest of Part 1 proving that @AsoRock lied. Part 2 is coming shortly. LISTEN and SHARE pic.twitter.com/e3WiSyPIdX

He also threatened to release part 2.
