Director, Strategic Communications of President Buhari 2019 Presidential Campaign, Festus Keyamo (SAN) has reacted to the controversies surrounding the appointment of Amina Waziri as head of the collation center for 2019 elections.

The official spokesperson of the Buhari presidential campaign took to Twitter on Friday to reveal his position.

“Mrs. Amina Zakari of INEC is a lady from a town in Sudan & is related to Jibrin Al Sudan who is the body-double of PMB. She arrived on the same flight with Jibrin Al Sudan and was smuggled to INEC the next day. Or, how else can we connect a woman from Jigawa to a man from Sudan?”

Naija News recalls that since news broke on Thursday about Zakari’s appointment as the official to be in charge of INEC’s center for collation of 2019 election results, stakeholders, including the Peoples Democratic Party, Oby Ezekwesili, presidential candidate of the ACPN and many others have continued to kick against her appointment.

They alleged Mrs. Zakari is related to President Muhammadu Buhari and therefore not fit to be appointed into such sensitive position.
