Mob Reportedly Kill Suspected Informant For Kidnappers In Katsina State

Violence As Mob Reportedly Lynch Kidnap/Bandits Informant.

A suspected informant for bandits and kidnappers was reportedly killed by a mob action this evening at Kasuwar Turare in Makera area of Dutsinma Local government, of Katsina State.

This is as Naija News reports that about 1500 Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs from Tsafe Local government of Zamfara State have moved to Kankara Local government in Katsina State after series of bandit attacks on their communities.

Daily Trust reports that  the killing of the suspect whose identity is yet  to be revealed led to a pandemonium in the market which equally was the village’s market day.

Eye witnesses said a gun and cutlass was recovered on the deceased body just as three others believed to be working along with the suspect took to their heels.

According to sources, the villagers are said to have launched a man hunt for the remaining three suspects.

When contacted, the spokesman of the State Police Command SP Gambo Isah promised to make inquiries and get across but didn’t till the time of filling in the report. ‎
